CareWorks of Ohio Updates to Claims Portal and Online Injury Reporting

CareWorks will be releasing two system updates in the next week. These updates are part of a larger refresh to our systems, designed to enhance the user experience for CareWorks clients.

  • CareWorks Claims Portal users will now have access to pharmacy information. Users can view this information via the website as well as export the data to an Excel spreadsheet. Prescription data is being provided along with medical bill payment information, imaged documents and claim notes to which clients already have access. This update is one of several planned over the next few months.
  • CareWorks’ Injury Reporting Center at www.careworksmco.com is also getting a refresh. This update will allow users to designate others within their company to have the ability to enter online injury reports. The “manager” will be able to view all of the reports entered by their designees. Designees will be able to start and submit claims. If a designee starts a claim but does not complete it, the manager will have the ability to complete the report for them.
  • We highly recommend that customers set up an online injury reporting account at www.careworksmco.com. Having your online account set up in advance of any new injuries can help make the reporting process go that much smoother for you.
